[Class 65 (i)] A telescopic stay for hinged doors &c. comprises two parallel rods 1, 4 hinged respectively to door frame 3 and door 6, and each provided at its free end with a clamp &c. 7, 8 for frictional engagement with the other rod. The clamp may be fixed to its rod by a bolt 11 and may have an adjusting screw 13 for varying its frictional grip on the other rod.
