Abstract
246,496. Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Co., (Assignees of Conrad, F.). Jan. 24, 1925, [Convention date]. Aerials; coupling oscillating and radiating circuits.-A transmitting aerial for use on short wave lengths comprises a mast 1 with rigid insulators 3 and rigid vertical conductors 2, 5 and an inductance 11, preferably adjustably connected between the conductors. A rigid horizontal conductor 6 may be connected to the conductor 5 as shown. The input as shown is by a single connection 17 arranged at a potential antinode and a thermojunction or ammeter 15 is provided preferably at a potential node.
