Abstract

245,481. Bruce, W. J. W. Sept. 3, 1924. Safety-valves.-An automatic blow-off valve for steam generators comprises a main valve 10 which is in direct communication with the generator and which is actuated by a piston 13, the supply of steam to the cylinder 14 of which is controlled by a pilot valve. The pilot valve communicates with either side of the main valve and is adapted to be operated by a hand lever. Specification 22176/12 is referred to.
