Hand-stamps; printing-surfaces; inking-apparatus.-In a hand-stamp for printing on balls, eggs, or other round or oval articles, of the kind in which the die is fitted in a box having a hinged lid containing an inking-pad, a spring tending to hold the lid in the open position, the die is carried by the upper face of a pneumatic cushion secured in the box, and may comprise removable blocks held in a recess in the cushion. The cushion f, secured to the bottom of a box a, carries a fixed die g and removable dating or other dies h which are held frictionally in a recess i. An inking-pad e is mounted in the lid b, which is connected to the body of the box by a spring hinge c tending to hold the lid open. Holes l are provided to enable the box to be screwed to a table.
