Abstract

1276236 Hand stamps; mounting printing plates T FUNAHASHI 23 Sept 1970 [24 Sept 1969] 45403/70 Headings B6C and B6D A hand stamp comprises a handle 5, spring loading means 15 and a stamp assembly-comprising porous relief blocks 2, porous impregnated inking pads 10 and a cover plate 8 having inking supply slots-which is enclosed within a frame 3 which is itself secured to a channel member 6 depending from the handle 5 through a further frame member 4 which has external grooves 11 which readily co-operate with inwardly protruding grooves 12 on the member 6. The frame member 4 has an indent 7 at each end for accommodating a flange 1 of the frame 3, the provision of these flanges 1 allowing the easy removal of the frame 3 from the frame 4 after the assembly 8, 10, 2, 3 and 4 has been slidably disengaged from the channel member 6. As the frame 3 carries the relief blocks 2 easy replacement of the blocks is achieved by this invention. The blocks may be fed with inks of different colours.
