Abstract

1393830 Hand-stamps; printing surfaces T FUNAHASHI 22 June 1973 [26 June 1972] 29828/73 Headings B6D and B6C A hand-stamp comprises a printing pad 6 supported in a holder 1 and a pair of pivotable box-shaped elements 15 which act as a handle in the position shown but which can act as covers when pivoted about axes 16. Catches 17 hold the elements 15 together when they cover the pad 6. The holder 1 is provided with a cover plate 9 detachable therefrom to replenish the ink in an ink pad 8. The pad 6 comprises an elastic sponge material, for example nitryl butadiene copolymer rubber. The ink pad 8 comprises polyvinyl formal resin or felt.
