Moreover, the stamps 6 which are depressed against resilient rubber or plastics pads 5 are guided at opposite ends on ports 20 and the stamps are aligned opposite the aperture 11 by a means (not shown). The stamps may be inked by depression against or brushing past pads 12 or, alternatively, they may be self-inking.
