Abstract

226,316. Holden, H. Oct. 25, 1923. Type cases.-A hand-stamping apparatus for use in hotels comprises a box 1 having an ink pad 6 at the bottom, and holding, by means of apertures 3 in its top 2, a number of stamps 7 with their type faces .resting on the ink pad. Each stamp has an enlarged head by which it is grasped, and on which is indicated by numerals the type carried thereby. The partitions 4 between the apertures 3 may also be marked to indicate the type carried by the stamp in the adjacent aperture.
