Abstract

216,042. Mayors, A. W. Oct. 17, 1923. Fittings, internal.-A box for a filament lamp or like fragile article is provided with a false bottom upon which the lamp is supported and which is folded so as to support itself along a line intermediate of the sides of the box. The false bottom is preferably comprised by two flaps, one flap 11 being folded to form the intermediate support 25 and the other flap 9 being folded inwardly to engage the first. The box which is preferably formed from a singfe blank may be provided with apertured flaps 6 for supporting the cap end of the lamp.
