Abstract

206,764. Hunt, R. Feb. 8, 1923. Folding boxes; fittings, internal.-A box formed from a single blank is folded to form a rectangular or other angular tube and is provided with end flaps which are folded inwardly to form supports for a filament lamp. The flaps a, which remain integral with each other, are creased to form three substantially triangular portions, and in one form, adapted to grip the cap of the lamp, the central portion 7 is folded inwardly in relation to the other portions 8, 9 and forms the gripping member. In a modification, adapted to support the glass end of the lamp, the central portion 11 is folded against the inner walls of the box and the portions 12, 13 are folded inwardly to receive the end of the lamp. The shape of the flaps a may be varied to suit the lamp supported.
