Abstract
340,560. Boxes for thermionic valves &c. ROBINSON, Ltd., E. S. & A., 1, Redcliffe Street, and LEY, J. R. N., 1, Claremont Flats, Bishopston, both in Bristol. Sept. 28, 1929, No. 29466. [Class 18.] A collapsable supporting unit for an electric lamp or valve adapted to be contained in an outer box is formed from a blank 1 cut and creased as shown in Fig. 2. The support is placed in a box with the crease lines 7 at diagonally opposite corners. The skirt part 8 may also be turned downwards. In a modified form shown in Fig. 7 an aperture 16 is provided at each side which, when the parts 151 are pushed inwards, engage over pins of a thermionic valve. In this form the cradle 21 may be omitted, a suitable aperture for engaging the body of the lamp being provided.
