Boxes made from special blanks.-A carton for fragile articles, e.g. electric lamp bulbs, is formed from a blank shaped as shown in which parts a - - d form the sides, a part c', a sunken top apertured at c<3> to take the lamp holder, parts a<2>, d' an outer closure, parts c<4>, d<3> the bottom and a part a<3>, b<1> a trough-shaped nest for the lamp bulb. A crease a' of the part a<3>, b<1> lies diagonally across the bottom of the box, the flaps a<3>, b<1> being turned upwards with the outer corners resting aginst the box walls. A slit a<8> may be provided to take a flange d<4> on the panel d<3>.
