468,467. Specially shaped boxes. SMITH & CO., Ltd., T., and LAZARUS, L. Feb. 29, 1936, No. 6167. [Class 18] A cardboard or sheet metal blank is creased along the dotted lines 2 and is slotted in diamond pattern at 3, the diagonals being in line with the creases. After the blank is folded, the box is contracted in the region of the slots 3 to form two waist portions and to give the appearance of an Xmas cracker. When the cracker is to be charged with gifts, articles for sale, &c. one waist is first formed, the articles are inserted into the central space from the other end and the other waist is then formed.
