Abstract

211,464. Trnka, J. Feb. 15. 1923, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Spray carburettors. -The engine is fitted with two or more carburettors and induction pipes supplying different mixtures which mix either in the valve chamber, or upon entering the cylinder. The carburettors 2, 102 supplied with different fuels, are controlled by valves 10, 110 and are connected by pipes 4, 104 either to two inlet valves 32, 132, or to a common valve chamber opening into the cylinder through one or two valves. The valves 10, 110, Figs. 1 and 2, are adapted to be rotated simultaneously to control the quantity of mixture supplied through arms 21, 121, a shaft 26, and a manually operated rod 31, and are independently slidable, to control the proportions of the two mixtures supplied, by arms 13, 113. The arm 13 is attached to a shaft 15 operated by a lever 18, and the arm 113 is carried by a sleeve 16 operated by a lever 118.
