Abstract
25,709. Parfitt, W. E. Nov. 8. Hoods.-A hood, more particularly for side-cars and cycle cars, comprises a main hoop-stick A pivoted to the body at H and supported in the raised position by a link G pivoted to a sliding piece L, to which is also hinged the forward bow B. When the hood is raised the piece L is moved beyond the position in which the members B, G are alined and so that it becomes forced against a stop K. The hoop B can be collapsed against the hoop A to allow access to the car without collapse of the whole hood.
