Hoods.-The folding and unfolding of a lazytongs frame for the front extension of a hood is effected by connecting the short inner member f of the frame by a link h to an extension i of the upper rear stretcher bar c<2> pivoted to the rear pillar a at j, so that as the rear stretcher bars fold forwards during the collapsing of the rear hood, the link h turns downwards to lie alongside the pillar a. A bar o, pivoted upon one joint of the frame and adapted to engage a stud on the opposite joint, locks the frame in the extended position.
