Hoods.- In foldable hood fittings for vehicles of the type comprising a parallel-ruler movement at the rear, consisting of a fitting e, prop c, link d. and strap a<2>, and a locking-link action between that movement and a swinging cant-rail, as described in Specification 162,020, the locking- link j is pivoted directly to the cantrail g is, hinge-jointed to a forward bar d<3> of the upper link d of the parallel-ruler movement in such a way that the joint d<4> of the -cant-rail g to the bar d<3> is above a line joining the two joints j<2>, j<3> of the locking-link, the rear of the cant-rail being adapted to move downwards to fold on to the main pillar.
