Hoods.-In hoods of the tvpe having the front portion of the cant-rail connected by a link to the middle pillar so as to fold down in front of and on top of the middle pillar, the link e is pivoted to a strap f on the front portion g of the cant-rail and the pillar c at a point e<2> below the level of the cant-rail. The two portions g, d of the cant-rail are connected by links l, m and a hoop stick is carried by the link m.
