Hoods.-In hood frames of the type in which the frame members are pivotally secured to plates or struts supporting the hoop sticks, the struts P, Q, Fig. 1, are pivotally attached at their extremities A, B to the frame members C, D, H, K by means of flange-shaped extensions R, Figs. 5 and 6, and shoulders S for co-operation with the ends T, U of the frame members, so that when the frame is collapsed the struts automatically project in alignment with the frame members.
