Abstract

175,136. Lancaster, E. R. Dec. 2, 1920. Gates.-A sliding gate &c. for a kennel, cage, shop front, &c. consists of a top bar 1 engaging guides 4 and connected to a bottom bar 2 by vertical bars 3. In the closed position the bottom bar 2 is held in notches in brackets 8 in the frame of the kennel &c. To open the door, it is freed from the notches, then swung outwardly and slid along the guides 4, and when fully opened the bottom bar 2 engages notches in brackets 5. The application of the invention to an indoor kennel having an open roof with removable cover and a raised platform for a bed is also described.
