[Also in Group X] A sliding grating for closing gate, door or window openings comprises parallel rod-like members 4 secured to a bar 6 provided with a roller 8 facilitating the sliding of the gate. Fixed tubular elements 5 receive the members when the grating is slid from the opening. As shown in Fig. 10, the opening is provided with two gratings slidable in opposite directions and the bars 6 are provided with additional rollers 7 engaging the upper part of the opening frame. The grating may be arranged to slide vertically.
