Abstract

Sliding doors.-The bottom groove in the frame of an horizontally sliding doorway has a hinged protecting-cover C which is turned up clear of the door when closing by means of a shoe A of metal fixed to the edge of door and having a surface H inclined at 65‹ to the horizontal and vertical planes. The shoe A operates on a piece B secured to the cover. A stop G in the jamb prevents the cover from turning completely over.
