215,589. Courtney, Pope, & Co., Ltd., and Lyons, C. May 24, 1923. Sliding doors; casements. - Doors, windows, &c. are adapted for movement from a vertical to a horizontal plane or from one vertical plane to another by the provision of a pair of pins or rollers 5, 6 on each side, carried on plates 7 and working in slots 9, 10, 11 formed in the case or in metal fittings 8 attached thereto. The arrangement is such that when the door is first raised the pins 6 act as pivots, while the pins 5 are guided along the slots 11 into the slots 9. Continued movement causes the pins 6 also to travel into the slots 9.
