458,008. Sliding doors and windows; draught-excluders. LUCAS, C. E., and LUCAS, S. C., 46, Alexandra Crescent, Bromley, Kent. April 18, 1936, No. 11150. [Class 20 (iii)] Relates to folding-sliding doors or windows 10, of the kind which are provided with roller or like track-engaging supports 19 and tracks 11 therefor in the plane of the closed door, the roller being mounted in a bracket 18 pivoted to a door leaf at 16 at a point spaced from the track by a distance equal to or greater than that between the face of the leaf and the track when the door is closed. According to the invention, the roller and its bracket are wholly received in a recess 20 in the door leaf when closed. When more than one pair of leaves is provided, as shown in chain lines in the Figure, the rolleraction carries an upstanding rod which is pivoted to the door leaf, and the rod is received in grooves between the leaves to act as a draughtexcluder.
