171,223. Elliott & Sons (Reading), Ltd., S., and Lyons, C. Aug. 30, 1920. Rectilinear-motion bearings.-The rollers e of sliding doors, panels &c. are mounted on ball bearings carried in two cones on a rivet of squared or other section secured in a channel member extending along the whole or part of the bottom sash of the door and, if desired, of the top sash also. The bottom of the channel between the rollers is closed by a strip or bar b<1> to exclude dust. The edge of the glass may be protected by a shield d secured in openings in the bar b<1>.
