183,746. Doughty, H. H. Sept. 21, 1921. Pivoted-sliding windows; doors.- In sliding window, bedstead, and like frames having a pin- and-slot engagement with a fixed frame, the slots 2, 3, disposed end to end, are not in line, and the slot 3 has at its upper end a turned-over part the end 4<a> of which is in line with the upper slot 2. An opening 8 is provided on the slot 3 for removing the side or window. A bolt 10 is adapted to engage the top of the slot 4 and prevent movement of the side when raised. A plate 9 is provided to take the wear on the slot 4.
