Abstract
398,447. Door-stops. WIELAND, E., 327, Birmensdorferstrasse, Z³rich, Switzerland. April 13, 1933, No. 11002. [Class 65 (i).] A buffer for preventing the closure of doors when desired comprises a rubber cylinder 1 rotatably mounted on a pin 3 carried by a hook 2 which is adapted for attachment to the hinge of the door so that the buffer lies between the hinging edge of the door and the door-post. The buffer can be turned from the position shown, in which the door and door-post engage its sides, to the dotted position in which the ends of the cylinder are employed, the latter position being used where there is a large gap between door and post in the position in which the door is to be held.
