477,261. Draught-excluders for doors and casements. KIRKCALDY, A. F. June 19, 1937, No. 17133. [Class 20 (iii)] A hinged-flap draught-excluder for the lower edge of doors and casement windows of the kind which is depressed against the step when the door closes, is raised and supported when the door opens by an arcuate plate 9 fixed at the junction of the sill and hinge post and provided with an inclined flange 10 at its front edge. The flap has a wear bead 12 engaging the plate 9. At the striking post, an additional supporting plate 13 is provided for the edge of the flap. The flap is depressed and held against the sill by a cam 6.
