163,872. Wilcock, W. April 6, 1920. Windows sliding horizontally.-A window comprises three sashes, one at each side, A<1>, A<3> being fixed and the middle one, A<2>, sliding on a guiderail E. The middle sash may be fixed in the closed or open position by screws G in the fixed sashes, which engage a perforated plate in the middle. The fixed sashes and the outside beads are secured by screws passing through the top and bottom beading; on removal of the screws, these sashes may be moved towards each other and taken from the frame. Clearance is allowed at each end of the rail for drainage.
