Weather excluders; door sills; window sills. - The sill of a door &c. is provided with an upwardly projecting weatherexcluding part d lying in the plane of the closed door and sloping downwardly to the floor level on the outside. A plate m may be adjustably secured to the inside of the door to abut against the projection d in the closed position. A sloping drainage channel g is provided in the sill inside the projection and a passage k leads therefrom to the outside. The channel may be concealed by a mat and the opening to the passage k may have a grid i.
