Draught, dust, and weather excluders.-A movable strip e resting in a recess in the sill of a casement or door is raised by a projection g on the hinged side of the door etc.; when closing and rests against the closed door to exclude draughts, dust, and weather. The strip e lies in a horizontal recess in the floor in interior doorways and is raised by a downwardly-projecting hook &c. Recesses in the frame limit the movement of the strip. The sill may be of metal and be provided with stops for the strip. The projection g may be replaced by a roller or wheel. Drain holes i leading to the front from the cavity d are provided in the sill.
