Doors.-The door of a hangar is pivoted on an upper horizontal axis A and is operated by a segmental rack C fixed to the door and an engaging pinion D driven either manuallv nr by a motor and belt, &c. The door is built up of panels comprising metallic frame members a. The panels are extended beyond the pivot, and are of box form and counterpoised at B. Retaining bolts may be provided for the open and closed positions and a dashpot of other cushioning device may also be provided.
