Abstract
170,072. Macrorie, A. K., Airey, H. Morris-, and Mullard, S. R. July 7, 1920. Vacuum tubes.-The end of a spring support E for the filament G of a thermionic valve, or like discharge tube, is passed through a hollow support B and through a side hole H or channel therein. The spring may be of molybdenum, and the end may be bound to the support by molybdenum wire K. The filament may be light-emitting.
