Liquid-fuel fittings; furnace fronts.-In furnaces of the kind adapted for burning coal or liquid fuel as described in Specification 19058/11, two burners C are arranged one on each side cf and above the coalfiring door b<3>. The inner wall B of an air supply casing E, to which air is admitted through non-return valves on each side of the door, is provided with a coal-firing opening b<2> and openings b<4> through which are projected the flames from the burners. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 12554/99.
