Liquid-fuel furnaces.-In a forced-draught furnace front of the kind described in Specification 106,704 for liquid and solid fuel, comprising front and back plates A, B spaced apart and having a tubular fire opening extending through them, each burner J is arranged in a tube H extending through holes in the front and back plates exterior to the fire opening, and having air-inlets N between these plates controlled by a damper O. This construction may be combined with that described in Specification 106,704.
