Abstract
167,730. Bohar, V. April 6, 1920. Air supply, regulating.-In gas-heated and like stoves of the type comprising a combustion chamber having burners arranged in it and an oven having double walls through which the combustion products pass, means are arranged on the burners for closing both the primary and secondary air supply openings to prevent the admission of cold air to the stove when the burners are not in use. In the arrangement shown, the end of the induction tube B<1> of the burner B projects through the wall A of the combustion chamber, and is provided with an air orifice U. Secondary air is supplied by a tube X, preferably cast in one with the burner. A sleeve R mounted on the end of the tube B' is rotated to close the opening U by means of a link S attached to an arm V on the gas-cock W. At the same time, the openimg X<1> of the tube X is covered by a plate T attached to the sleeve R. Specification 167,524 is referred to.
