Tyres, non-elastic; temporary rims for adapting agricultural-machine and like wheels for use on roads; block tyres.-A detachable tyre for adapting tractor wheels with projecting strokes for use on roads consists of a serious of metal segments D preferably carrying rubber treads E and provided with downturned ends d by which they may be secured to the rim A and form bridges over the strakes. Intermediate points of support may be provided by brackets d<3>. The segments may be arranged either in the form of a helix or parallel to the plane of the wheel, with the ends of adjacent segments overlapping. The securing-means may consist of bolts or keys d<2>. The ends of the strakes B may project laterally beyond the rim on one side and be connected together by a ring C.
