Abstract

290,802. Nicholson, F. April 19, 1927. Tyres, non-elastic.-Steel-shod wheels are provided with a detachable rubber tyre consisting of a plurality of sections 6 preferably vucanized on a canvas foundation 7 and clamped to the wheels 5 by means of segmental tie-rods 9, 11 having left and right hand threaded ends engaged by nuts 10. The tie-rods preferably pass through eyes 8a formed in wires bedded in the rubber.
