Abstract

153,185. Despres, E. Dec. 3, 1919. Locking nuts. - One limb of a U-shaped key e engages coincident grooves in a nut and bolt, and the other limb of the key has a latchshaped beak g adapted to engage a groove or recess in the outer surface of the nut. The key may be made of spring material so that the beak snaps into engagement, or it may be of malleable metal, in which case the beak is forced into engagement. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 521/10.
