Abstract

203,204. Comley, F. Sept. 30, 1922. Locking nuts. - A nut is locked to a bolt by means of a ductile washer d having an internal tongue which engages a longitudinal groove b in the bolt and radial tongues &c. g which are turned up to engage the facets of the nut. In a modification the tongues g may be provided with V-shaped notches to engage the angles of the nut. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4007/90, 27509/98, 20223/06, and 3846/15.
