168,266. Best, J., and Haas, A. Oct. 20, 1920. Locking nuts. - The end of the bolt 2 is split and provided with a screwed bore to receive a set-screw 7, the plain upper portion 9 of which serves to expand the end of the bolt and thereby lock the nut 4. The engagement of the plain portion of the set-screw with the threaded bore server to secure the set-screw in position.
