Locking nuts.-A bolt a having its end reduced in diameter nd provided with a screwhread of opposite hand to the usual thread, is provided with wo nuts j, f which look together on screwing one against he other. The lower nut f may be provided with a conical extension g which engages a tapered recess h in the corresponding face of the upper nut j. The device may be applied to studs. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 13310/89, 8198/95, 23235/96, 1907/00, 435/06, and 20255/08.
