Abstract
151,899. Roos, G. March 5, 1920. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-Liquid fuel is injected into a cup 1 where part of it ignites by the heat of compression of air in the cylinder and expels the remainder through the holes 3. The cup is made as thin as possible, fits into a recess 4 in the cylinder head, and is secured by a yoke 11 and screw 10 acting through the fuel pipe elbow 8 and a nozzle 7. The nozzle is surrounded by cooling medium 5 and has a spherical joint with the end of the pipe elbow.
