Abstract

170,539. Mõdler, F. L. June 15, 1920. Vaporizers, external. - A small quantity of burnt gases under pressure escapes from the cylinder through a passage 27 into a chamber 25 in the piston, where by its heat it vaporizes a charge of liquid injected through the passage 5. At the end of the outstroke the vaporized fuel expands through the passages 28 and 29 into a charge of air in the cylinder.
