Abstract

1498018 Refrigerators ERNEST WEST & BEYNON Ltd 31 Oct 1975 [3 Sept 19741 38528/74 Heading F4H [Also in Division B7] A refrigerated trolley for conveying perishable loads, particularly cadavers 7, includes a chest having a removable cover 5 and a base 4, a load tray 6 of the same width as the base but being shorter to allow circulation of air about the tray, and refrigeration apparatus to cool the circulated air. The base defines a well 9 housing an electrically driven fan 14 and the evaporator 10 of the refrigeration apparatus. The well is divided by baffles 18, 19 to provide inlet and outlet routes, the air from the outlet passing through passage 17 between the tray and base and into the upper chest region. The refrigeration apparatus includes a pump 12, condenser 13 and fan 15 mounted outside the well.
