148,507. Bocchi, J. F. M. Oct. 27, 1916, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Spray carburettors.-The fuel nozzle, of a carburettor consists of inner and outer tubes l, j, the inner tube communicating with the annular float chamber through the orifice o and with the outer tube through a number of spirally arranged orifices m<1> - - m<5>. The outer tube has a spraying orifice at k<1> and an air inlet at k, the air mixing with the fuel before it is sprayed. The tubes l, j are carried by a pipe p and are removable therewith from the body of the carburettor, the pipe being held in by a spring-pressed catch x on a pivoted frame w. The pipe p has fuel orifices t for use at starting to form mixture in the by-pass u, when the throttle b is closed.
