Abstract
148,398. Junkers, H. Dec. 27, 1916, [Convention date]. Movable-abutment type; discharge and suction passages.-In a pump of the rotary abutment type, the piston vanes 5 are supported at both ends by disks 10, 11 rotating round stationary pins, and the rotary abutment 21 with which they co-operate is provided with a greater number of recesses than there are vanes, so that it rotates at a slower angular speed than the piston. Two or more pistons 5, Fig. 5, may coact with the same abutment 21, and the fluid may be admitted axially to chambers 25, Figs. 7 and 8, and ports 27, and discharged axially through ports 20 and chambers 30.
