145,217. Buis, E. W. May 13, 1919. Two-stroke-cycle en. gines; driving-gear. - Two cylinders are disposed one on each side of a central crank-shaft provided with pin-and-slot driving - mechanism. Charges are compressed in the ends of the cylinders remote from the combustion spaces to which the pump charges are transferred through valves x in the pistons. The magneto and lubricating - oil pump are mounted upon an extension of the base-plate N.
