Connecting-rods; pistons, balancing laterally.- In an internal-combustion engine having openended cylinders mounted in a rotor b, the pistons are each connected to a ring g<1> on a stationary crank-pin f, a pair of diametrically disposed rods having cranked ends y secured to a link g<2>. The Figure shows the piston faces inclined in the plane of the connecting-rod swing.
