Spray burners.-In a liquid-fuel burner, steam or air is supplied through a central passage a and liquid fuel from a jacket space c surrounding the steam passage a is admitted to the steam passage through two opposed nozzles d. An auxiliary supply of steam is admitted to the steam passage through an inlet e, and the liquid fuel from an inlet f is heated before it reaches the chamber c by being projected against that part of the wall of the steam passage which is immediately opposite and heated by the entry of the auxiliary steam. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 17853/14.
